HR & Payroll module Coming soon — on the roadmap

Payroll software that keeps up with each year’s rules

Fidar HR & Payroll brings employee records, attendance, leave and payroll together, with configurable formulas, social-security lists in the official format and payroll tax from yearly tables. The module is on the roadmap, and rates are checked against official sources before implementation.

On the roadmap · rates and caps are configurable data with validity dates

This module is in development. What you read on this page is our design and plan for this module, not something you can use today. We publish its schedule and status on the roadmap.

Problem and solution

The same month-end headache, every month

Collecting attendance from time clocks, applying leave, calculating pay in spreadsheets, building the insurance list and payslips, then posting the accounting entry — work that eats several days of HR and finance time every month.

Problem

Attendance is transferred by hand

Time-clock exports are fixed in spreadsheets and matched against leave.

In Fidar (in development)

Time-clock integration, shift rules and leave requests with approval; monthly attendance is ready for payroll.

Problem

The rules change every year

When minimum wage or the tax table changes, spreadsheet formulas are edited by hand.

In Fidar (in development)

All rates, caps and bracket tables are configurable data with validity dates, never hard-coded; each period uses its own table.

Problem

Everyone can see everyone’s salary

The payroll file is copied onto several computers.

In Fidar (in development)

Field security and org scope: pay amounts are visible only to authorised roles within their scope — in reports and exports too.

Problem

Payroll entries are re-keyed

Payroll results are typed into the accounting system again.

In Fidar (in development)

Payroll, insurance and tax entries post automatically with each employee’s cost centre, and batch payments are prepared.

Before your first payroll run in the system

Run the first month in parallel: calculate payroll both the current way and in Fidar and compare line by line. Most differences come from how pay components are defined, not from the calculation.

List all pay components and benefits with finance and your payroll adviser: which are subject to insurance, which to tax, and which to both. That list is the basis for the configurable formulas.

Restrict payroll access from day one. Even during testing, real salary data should only be visible to authorised roles.

Complete personnel records before payroll: hire date, contract type, insurance number and bank account. Most errors in the first payroll month come from incomplete records, not formulas.

Enable employee self-service early. When staff can see their own payslips and leave balances and request leave online, the volume of repetitive questions to HR drops sharply.

Finally, decide early who owns the payroll calendar: the cut-off date for attendance, the approval deadline for overtime and leave, and the payment date. A written calendar that everyone follows does more for payroll accuracy than any formula.

Payroll and personnel data is the most sensitive data a company holds; Fidar’s design makes encryption, masking in reports and org-chart-based access the default.

HR & Payroll FAQ

When will HR & Payroll be released?

Iranian HR & Payroll is on the roadmap after the finance and supply-chain modules. Use “Notify me” to hear when it’s ready.

How are insurance rates and tax tables kept up to date?

All rates and tables are configurable data with validity dates. When a new circular is issued, the new table is entered with its start date and earlier periods keep their own table. Rates are checked against official sources before implementation.

Will it connect to our time clocks?

Attendance-device integration is part of the design. Mention your device model in the “Notify me” form so it gets compatibility priority.

Does it submit the insurance list directly?

The current design produces the insurance list in the social-security organisation’s upload format. Any other submission method will be announced after reviewing official requirements.

Who can’t see salaries?

Every role without payroll permission — in the report builder and Excel exports too. Managers see only non-financial data about their reports unless they hold a payroll role.

Does this replace a payroll and insurance adviser?

No. The software calculates according to the rules you define; interpreting the law and special cases still needs an expert.
