Localization
Localization for Iran, built in from the core
Most international ERPs add Persian by translation and the Jalali calendar by plug-in. In Fidar, Persian, right-to-left layout and the Jalali calendar come from the platform core, and Iran’s tax, insurance and banking requirements are designed as configurable data with validity dates — not hard-coded rules. For companies working with Iranian subsidiaries or partners, the same data is available in English with Gregorian dates.

Design principle
Regulations change; software shouldn’t break
Iranian tax and insurance rules change frequently, so in Fidar no rate, cap or table is hard-coded.
Every rate is stored with a validity start date. When a new circular arrives, a new table is added with its own date and earlier periods keep their own table — so last year’s report still shows the same number this year.
Wherever our blog refers to a regulation, we cite the official source and a “last reviewed” date, and remind readers to consult a specialist for specific cases.
Iran localization FAQ
What is the Moadian system?
Iran’s national tax administration system for registering and submitting electronic invoices. See the glossary.
Is Fidar suitable for companies outside Iran?
Yes. English UI, the Gregorian calendar and multi-currency are in the platform core, and the Iran localization is only enabled for organisations that need it.
Do we enter new tax and insurance rates ourselves?
In the cloud edition, official tables are updated after verification. In both editions admins can review tables with their validity dates and adjust them if needed.
